This year marks 30 years since the European Economic Area (EEA) agreement was signed, which gave Iceland, among other things, access to the European Union's internal market and increased opportunities for cooperation in Europe. On the occasion of that turning point, Rannís, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Universities, Industry and Innovation and the EU delegation in Iceland invite you to two events on Wednesday, May 8. on the one hand the symposium: EES for 30 years - benefits, opportunities, challenges and on the other hand the Harvest festival of European projects: European cooperation for 30 years. The seminar, which will take place at the Grand Hotel from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., will focus on Iceland's participation in the European internal market and European cooperation programs, and discuss what challenges and opportunities the future holds.
